Taking Care of YOU: Powerful Tools for Family Caregivers is designed for family caregivers of persons impacted by a serious illness such as cancer, dementia, or injury/disability. Whether you are helping a spouse, parent, friend, someone who lives at home, in a nursing home, or across the country, it doesn’t matter. What is important is that you are interested in learning skills to help YOU in your caregiving role.

This class offers tools to: 

·        Reduce stress

·        Take care of you

·        Reduce guilt, anger and depression

·        Master caregiving transitions

·        Make tough decisions

·        Set goals and solve problems

·        Communicate effectively with other family members, doctors and paid helpers

The fee is $10 and includes “The Caregiver Helpbook.”
