Memorial Gifts

“HospiceCare showed our mother and family wonderful care and compassion. It was a blessing that Mom was able to be at HospiceCare those last few days. All of the staff and volunteers helped to make her so much more comfortable and peaceful, which was what she deserved. Mom believed so strongly in all that HospiceCare provides for the community, and she would be so pleased with the memorials to HospiceCare in her name. What you provide for individuals and families is invaluable and we appreciate greatly all you have done for all of us.”
—The Family of Helen Schuemann

Memorial gifts may take the form of an annual contribution "in memory of" a loved one or "in honor of" someone’s birthday, anniversary or other special occasion. Often families will direct people to make "donations to HospiceCare in lieu of flowers" in funeral notices. You can also make a memorial gift via our secure online donation page.

Please note that the primary care provider will automatically be notified of any gifts recevied in memory of his/her loved one. The weekly notification letter lists the names and addresses of all recent donors. However, memorial donation amounts are kept confidential.

Some donors may also be interested in memorializing someone with a custom brick in the HospiceCare Memorial Brick Walk.
