Our Donors

The HospiceCare Foundation is a community of donors who share the value of a healthy end-of-life journey. Their support has helped us enhance the quality of our service and expand our reach to all those who need us.

In 2008, HospiceCare’s 30th anniversary, the $20 million Promises to Keep Capital Campaign to build the Ellen & Peter Johnson HospiceCare Residence was completed, thanks to more than 4,400 donors of gifts both large and small.

Also in 2008, HospiceCare served more than 550 patients per day on average. Foundation donations supported a 50 percent increase in charity care and also funded services for the 10,136 grief clients who received our support last year.

These accomplishments were made possible by our caring community of donors—a community that believes, as we do, that hospice should be accepted, expected and available to all.
