The HospiceCare Campus

The HospiceCare Campus combines state-of-the-art technology with a beautiful, homelike setting to provide expert care and comfort for patients, families and visitors.

Visitors are greeted with the sound of water coming from our donor recognition wall as they enter the Ellen & Peter Johnson HospiceCare Residence. The HospiceCare gift shop is conveniently located in this area.

The HospiceCare Campus is decorated with beautiful stained glass and artwork representing the many cultures of residents in south central Wisconsin.

Patient rooms are designed to be as home-like as possible while incorporating state-of-the art equipment.

The grounds of the HospiceCare campus are a nature lover’s dream. Each room has its own private patio for patients to enjoy the beautiful flower gardens where birds, squirrels and deer are frequent visitors.

Patients who are limited to their beds will enjoy the comfort provided by our spas designed especially for them. The spas include easy transfer equipment to allow patients to enjoy a spa bath. The spas also provide comfort through use of towel warmers, aroma therapy and soothing music.

The HospiceCare Campus has many private kitchenettes including all of the appliances and materials needed to cook or reheat meals from home. Many families reserve the private kitchenettes to celebrate family or holiday parties at HospiceCare.

Patients can either enjoy food delivered to them in their rooms, or order food with friends and families in the Doc Rock Café. The cafe provides gourmet coffee and food made fresh daily from locally grown produce.

The HospiceCare dining room sits just off of the Doc Rock Café. The room provides many tables to accommodate parties large to small. Many visitors also enjoy the ample outdoor seating surrounding the dining room.

The childrens' play room provides entertainment for children of all ages.

The HospiceCare Campus has two libraries where patients, families and visitors can use computers, check out books, movies, music and games.

Patients can get their hair done on Thursdays in the HospiceCare Cost Cutters Salon. This service is provided at no charge to patients by the employees of Cost Cutters.

A lot of though has been put into the design and construction of the HospiceCare Campus to make patients, families and visitors as comfortable as possible.  However, we often hear that it was the friendly, knowledgeable and supportive staff that provide the most comfort at HospiceCare.
